ABC's . . . curriculum is designed to attract the entire family.  parents get closer to their children through their involvement in the program.  the program fosters the closeness of family by:

• Encouraging parents or guardians to stay for the class and see what their children are learning.
• Encouraging parents to work wit htheir children at home to assure that they can apply the proper technique.
• Encouraging children to talk to their parents or guardians about drugs, gangs, and a multitude of other safety issues.
